Well, it is a bit blustery out today!! But spring is official, and I am watching the trees everyday for new little buds to peek out!

DO you smell it? Spring is JUST AROUND THE CORNER!!! It’s a good thing, too- because I am almost out of the acorns Santa brought me to help feed the deer!!

The Acorns are collected, All the floors are swept… The firewood is neatly stacked… The pumpkins are all kept… now I’ll just sit, and knit, and dream of happy faces ’til… West Wind comes and blows the leaves and covers the wood for fall.

Thank you so much to everyone for sending me so many lovely birthday wishes:) It has been a most magical day…I had tea and cake with the forest creatures, the new fawn gave me a kiss on the cheek! I still can’t quite remember exactly how old I am…..438? 446?
